Museo Benini, built in 2014 near Marble Falls, Texas, is one of only 300 single artist museums in the world. We want to be here for generations.

In 2024, we established a public charity foundation, and in June 2025 the Benini Foundation was granted a 501 (c)(3) to welcome contributions from corporations, foundations and lovers of art.

Museo Benini and the previous cultural institutions owned by the Beninis – The Benini Galleries and Sculpture Ranch in Johnson City (2000-2014) and THEARTFOUNDATION (1988-2000) in Hot Springs National Park, Arkansas were private art museums, with cultural events always funded by the sale of Benini’s artwork.

This transition to the non-profit organization is designed for the future. The foundation board of directors is dedicated to preserving and continuing to exhibit Benini’s artwork in changing exhibitions, as well as continuing programming, educational tours and special events, such as the ARTS Encounters that celebrates creative professionals of wide-ranging topics – writers, artists, musicians, native plant specialists, etc.

The focus is for this 6500 square foot museum - as well as the fine art collection, the 17,000-volume research library, studios and archives –to continue to serve its educational and cultural mission long into the future.

The one mandate that Benini, as honorary chair, set before the board of directors was for the museum to always be open free of charge.

Your donation will deepen our commitment for programming and future growth, and we thank you immensely.
